About us
Teilzeit Schweiz lists only two kinds of work: jobs with a Pensum below full time and temporary assignments. A 100 percent permanent role never shows up here, so a search for 50 percent is not buried under full-time ads that merely mention flexibility.
It is for people fitting work around something else. Students with lectures three days a week, parents coming back after a family break, people who want a side job next to their main one, and anyone who needs a few weeks of temp work between two positions.
How it works

- 2Open a posting for the full description, the employer, the stated Pensum and the salary where given. You apply on the employer’s own page or address, never through us.

Why it’s free
Part-time and temporary roles are often small hires: one shop assistant, one evening shift, one cover for a parental leave. A posting fee would cost more than such a role is worth to many employers, so posting and reading both stay free.
Common questions
- Can I search for an exact Pensum?
- Yes. Drag both ends of the employment level slider, say to 40 and 60 percent, and every job whose stated Pensum overlaps that range stays in the list.
- Are there Minijobs in Switzerland?
- No. Minijob is a German scheme with its own earnings cap. In Switzerland a small job is an ordinary contract with a small Pensum or an hourly wage, and those are the jobs listed here.
- How does temp work through an agency work?
- You are employed by the staffing agency and work at a client company for the length of the assignment. Agencies need a licence, and most fall under the collective agreement for staff leasing, which sets minimum wages.
- Can I get new jobs by email?
- Yes. Save a search with your filters, including the employment level, and new matches arrive by email.
- In which languages can I read the site?
- English, German, French and Italian. A posting shows in its original language and switches to yours once its translation is ready.
- How does an employer remove a filled job?
- With the private link emailed when the posting was confirmed. It withdraws that posting, with no account. It cannot change the text, so a correction means withdrawing it and posting again.
