Job description
Thalwil is an attractive municipality on Lake Zurich with over 18,400 inhabitants. For the Service Center (DLZ) Education, we are looking for the area of Out-of-school Care (SeB) in our care location in Gattikon as of 1. January 2027 or by arrangement for a Pedagogical Specialist Out-of-school Care 75 %. Your tasks:

Leadership and adequate accompaniment of the students according to the pedagogical concept of open work
Participatory planning, design, and implementation of an attractive, varied daily and leisure program
Designing the functional rooms, adapted to the interests and needs of the child group
Promoting the individual and holistic development of the students
Organizing, co-designing, and implementing parent events
Interdisciplinary cooperation with teaching, school social work, parents, internal and external specialist agencies
Project work as well as organizational and administrative tasks
Leading and accompanying the assigned employees
Preparation and management of meetings
Cooperation with the site management as well as management of care of other school and care units
Your profile

Pedagogical training, recognized by the Zurich Department of Education (e.g., FaBe K, HF Social Pedagogy, HF Childhood Pedagogy)
Experience in family or out-of-school care is an advantage
Commitment to the best possible development and well-being of the children
Conscientious, proactive, independent, and reliable
Enthusiasm for working with kindergarten and primary school children
Patient, empathetic, and appreciative in dealing with children
Networked thinking and organizational skills
High self-reflection, loyalty, and ability to work in a team
Resilient, flexible, and committed to the operation and its further development
