On mandate from the canton of Basel-Landschaft, the Erlenhof| Foundation takes care of unaccompanied minor asylum seekers at various sites. For our WUMA in Reinach (residential groups for unaccompanied minor asylum seekers), we are looking for from 01.01.2027 a/an

Your field of activity:

• Care of unaccompanied minor asylum seekers (UMA) aged 14 to 18 within the framework of daily life in a residential group, including weekend and night services
• The goal of your work is to support these young people in their personal and social development as well as to provide sustained support for their integration tasks and to prepare them for an autonomous life
• Based on our pedagogical concept, you offer young asylum seekers mainly orientation and security, and respond in an appropriate and competent manner to their individual needs
• Promotion of skills as well as leisure activities and group activities
• Joint organization of the group's daily life with the young people, placing great importance on promoting their autonomy and being co-responsible for the group's order and its functional state
• Case management of approximately 4 young people, including the writing of development reports, promotion plans as well as minutes

What you bring:

• HF/FH degree in social pedagogy
• Excellent proven professional and social skills in working with young people
• Category B driver's license required
• You are an empathetic and trustworthy person, who easily creates access to young asylum seekers
• Great capacity for understanding to quickly gain a complete overview of a global situation
