Introduction

For an institution in Baselland, we are looking on behalf of our client, effective immediately, for an engaged and resilient Social Work Professional, Social Pedagogue, or Care Professional 80%. You will accompany people with mental impairments in their daily lives and make a valuable contribution to their quality of life and self-determination.

Tasks

• Resource-oriented and individual accompaniment and support of people with mental impairments
• Planning, implementation and documentation of the care and accompaniment processes
• Ensuring a high quality of care and continuous further development of the accompaniment offers
• Close cooperation with specialist agencies, authorities, relatives and internal partners
• Participation in an interdisciplinary team and active involvement in shaping an appreciative living and residential environment
• Professional handling of challenging situations and crises

Profile

• Completed training in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, or Care Professional
• Experience in accompanying people with mental impairments is an advantage
• Readiness for irregular working hours in shift operation seven days a week
• High social competence, empathy and strong service orientation
• Independent, responsible and solution-oriented way of working
• Ability to act calmly and confidently even in demanding situations
• Appreciative communication as well as reliability and team spirit
• Driver's license category B required
