Mobile educator at 80%

The Association has made it its mission to welcome, supervise, and support young people in their difficulties, so that they gain autonomy. The peculiarity of this position lies in its mobility between the various structures of the Association. Reporting to the Management, the mobile educator intervenes mainly to ensure replacements within the educational teams, notably during sickness absences. Their interventions take place mostly in residential services and, occasionally, in outpatient services.

Depending on needs, he/she may also be required to intervene temporarily as reinforcement for a team or, more occasionally, to provide specific educational support. The nature of the position requires a real capacity to quickly integrate into different work environments, to understand the functioning of a team and a service, and to find one's place in varied contexts. Your experience, your calmness, your autonomy, your flexibility and your capacity for adaptation constitute essential assets in this regard.

• You are… :
• In possession of a HES social educator diploma or a title deemed equivalent (SEFRI recognition mandatory for foreign diplomas), you have solid experience of several years in a boarding school setting with adolescents. Experience within an outpatient service, in the field of adolescence, constitutes a valuable advantage.
• You appreciate the diversity of work contexts and are comfortable with a position that does not belong to a single team or a single structure.
• Given the mobility inherent to the function, a driving license as well as a vehicle are indispensable. Due to our field of activity with minors, your criminal record must be clean.
• Working at the MDJ as a mobile educator means notably… :
• Ensuring replacements within the various services of the Association, mainly residential, in order to guarantee the continuity of educational support.
• Integrating quickly into the different teams and inscribing one's intervention within the framework, the functioning and the objectives specific to each service.
• Ensuring quality individual and/or collective educational follow-up through the observation, evaluation and objectification of the young people followed and their social and family environment.
• Intervening as reinforcement for a team when a particular situation or context requires it. - Participating in certain particular activities of a structure, such as camps or weekends. - Participating in colloquiums, supervisions and various commissions.
• Collaborating with families or network partners. - Ensuring a specific educational support mandate.
