Social Pedagogue or Specialist in Childcare Schule Borrweg, 60-65 %

The new Schule Borrweg has been a day school since this school year. We are looking for reinforcement for the care of Cluster 3B (1st grade) as of 01.11.26 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

As a FaBe or Social Pedagogue, you work 4 days per week (definitely Monday and Friday). Additionally, you will be deployed in the holiday care center for 5 weeks per school year during the school holidays. Together with two FaBe colleagues, you will shape the everyday life for the children in Cluster 3B. Within the childcare team, you ensure daily operations in the entire school building and in the holiday care center.

Your tasks include:

• Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the care of a group of children of kindergarten age
• You ensure daily operations
• You conduct parent meetings
• You work together with teachers and other teaching staff

Profile ##

• Degree as a FaBe or Social Pedagogue, a primary school teaching diploma or an equivalent qualification (in the case of a foreign diploma, Swiss diploma recognition is a mandatory requirement)
• Professional experience in the care of children (after-school care, Kita)
• Very good German language skills
• You enjoy working in a lively, multicultural childcare facility in a new school building
• You like to help shape things and get involved
• You are flexible, resilient, and maintain an overview as well as joy even with lively groups of children
• You enjoy working in a team and appreciate cooperation with other professional groups

About us ##

Der Schulkreis Uto is one of 7 school districts in the city of Zürich and includes the city districts 2 and 3 with the quarters Leimbach, Wollishofen, Enge, Friesenberg and Alt-Wiedikon. The newly built Schule Borrweg is located in the Friesenberg quarter, at the foot of the Uetliberg. It consists of 3 kindergartens, 12 primary and 2 preparatory classes.
