Buffet Staff (30%)

The dining halls and cafeterias of the Universität Bern cater to up to 1'200 guests daily at the various catering locations of the UNI Bern. The bistro is part of the Mensa at Gesellschaftstrasse and offers coffee, cold drinks, and snacks. Between 150 and 250 people are catered for in Gesellschaftsstrasse. In accordance with the ZFV philosophy, cooking is done fresh on-site with regional as well as ecologically sensible and fair-trade produced foods.

Are you our new team member who will support us as buffet staff (30%) immediately or by arrangement?

Your area of activity:

• Greeting and advising guests
• Operating the cash register
• Plating menus during lunch service
• Preparation of the mise en place
• Ensuring an appealing presentation of goods
• Assisting with caterings and special events
• Carrying out general tidying and cleaning work
• Implementation of the ZFV quality and service standards
• Compliance with and implementation of hygiene and occupational safety guidelines
