Bar / Service Employee (50%)

The Helvetia Versicherungen mandate in Basel offers several gastronomy services. A publicly accessible bistro, a public bar & terrace with a view of Basel, a self-service section, caterings, and an event hall.

Guests are pampered with a daily changing, fresh, and high-quality selection. True to the ZFV philosophy, cooking is done fresh on-site with regional, as well as sustainably produced and fairly traded foods.

Are you our new team member who will support us as a Bar / Service Employee (50%) immediately or by arrangement? You will be deployed flexibly between Tuesday and Saturday at an approx. 50% workload as required.

Your area of activity:

• Greeting and advising guests
• Service and collection of payment at the table
• Operating the cash register
• Assisting with caterings and special occasions
• Banquet service (Apéros, Flying Buffets, Gala Dinner, standing lunch, etc.)
• Preparing simple snacks
• Creation of the mise en place
• Ensuring attractive product presentation
• Carrying out general tidying and cleaning work
• Operating the glass dishwasher
• Implementation of ZFV quality and service standards
• Compliance with and implementation of hygiene and occupational safety guidelines
• Participation in training sessions and meetings
• Support in other ZFV operations
