Tasks ##

• as a member of the eFahrplan team, you create the data basis so that our customers can use öV-Schweiz reliably and precisely
• you bundle travel information from the most diverse sources and prepare it punctually for our passengers - to this end, you independently use and develop software and tools
• in your function, you further develop and program the sophisticated and specialized applications (PHP) for generating timetable data
• furthermore, you are responsible for the critical preparation of the timetable data, its timely execution, and the qualitative control
• you actively work in data IT projects together with internal and external partners*
• you develop and support solution architectures, technical concepts, and interface specifications for various systems and system partners
• additionally, you analyze the needs of internal and external stakeholders and translate the functional requirements into innovative and practical technical solutions
• this also includes the responsibility for receiving, analyzing, and solving customer reactions (1st to 3rd level support)
• you work with a flexitime model with us in the Silberwürfel at the Zentralwerkstatt location in Zürich-Altstetten with the possibility of home office for a maximum of 2 days per week
• the 4-member team looks forward to your support and motivation

Profile ##

• completed higher education in computer science, software engineering, business informatics (HF/FH) or several years of experience with very good programming skills
• great interest in or even expertise in the field of öV, a quick grasp and a precise way of working
• mature knowledge in data systems, IT architecture and systems and/or PHP, SQL and/or transport data such as HRDF, NeTEx, GTFS
• enjoyment of refactoring and modernizing legacy software, as well as dealing with large and complex datasets
• experience in the project environment and in product management helps you to master these demanding and time-critical tasks
• you know how to express yourself clearly and to design cooperation with all internal and external stakeholders at eye level
• your German is at native speaker level
