The Primarschule Uster, with around 3'000 school and kindergarten children, is the third largest school community in the Canton of Zürich. Uster is accessible from Zürich HB by train in 14 minutes.
For the Hasenbühl day structures and the holiday care, we are looking for a responsible and committed specialist (m/f/d) for the combined function of Group Leader Hasenbühl and Head of Holiday Care. The employment is permanent. The assignments as Group Leader take place during the school weeks; the holiday care takes place exclusively during the defined holiday weeks/days.

Group Leader Hasenbühl & Head of Holiday Care (approx. 60-65%) ##

For the Hasenbühl day structures and the holiday care, we are looking for a responsible and committed specialist (m/f/d) for the combined function of Group Leader Hasenbühl and Head of Holiday Care. The employment is permanent. The assignments as Group Leader take place during the school weeks; the holiday care takes place exclusively during the defined holiday weeks/days.

Working hours and workload: ###

• Group Leader Hasenbühl: 24 weekly hours during the school weeks
• Hasenbühl assignments: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons; additionally Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
• Holiday care: Autumn holidays 1st week, sports holidays 1st and 2nd week, spring holidays 2nd week, Ascension, as well as summer holidays 2nd week
• Per full holiday week: 50 hours of assignment (9 hours/day, Mon-Fri, plus 5 hours of preparation and follow-up); Ascension proportionally according to the assignment plan
• Opening hours holiday care: 07.00-18.00

Hasenbühl (Group Leader):

• Supporting the after-school care management and deputy after-school care management in the implementation of the concept, the defined goals, and the organization of the daily routine
• Responsibility for the care of the children as well as fulfillment of the educational and training mandate
• Design of high-quality care in close cooperation with the team, the parents, and the teaching team
• Care of the children during the lunch and afternoon modules according to the assignment plan
• Administrative and organizational tasks as well as contact person work
• Close cooperation with the after-school care management, management of day structures, as well as other specialist departments

Holiday care (Head of Holiday Care):

• Professional and organizational management of the holiday care in the Tadem with Co-Holiday Care Management
• Planning, organization, and implementation of the holiday care weeks (program, excursions, material, infrastructure)
• Care of up to 60 children as well as ensuring a safe, reliable environment
• Coordination and professional guidance of a team of up to 10 employees
• Administrative and organizational tasks (e.g., assignment planning, material/budget planning, parent communication)
• Close cooperation with the after-school care management, management of day structures, as well as other specialist departments

What you bring with you: ###

• Completed training in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Childcare, a teaching diploma, or a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ) as a specialist in care (Fachperson Betreuung)
• Several years of experience in the care of children, ideally in day structures or comparable settings
• Proven organizational experience, especially for the planning and implementation of holiday offers
• Leadership and communication competence as well as a structured, independent way of working
• Resilience, flexibility, and joy of innovation in everyday life
• Willingness to perform an intensive workload during the defined holiday weeks
• Proficient in handling modern digital work tools
