The Département Plein Soleil of the Institution de Lavigny, located in Lausanne, is dedicated to people suffering from progressive neurological diseases or brain injuries, and includes a 70-bed nursing home (EMS), a 10-place day care center (CAT), 12 protected apartments, and an outpatient therapy center. It is a unique place of life and care in the Canton of Vaud, offering personalized support, with care services and therapies, educational and socio-cultural activities, personal development and well-being workshops, spiritual support, and a service dedicated to the relatives of the residents.

We are looking for, for our socio-cultural sector – workshop team, a:

IT workshop facilitator at 80%

You will notably be in charge of:

• Accompanying residents within the framework of the IT workshop, by proposing activities adapted to their abilities, wishes, and projects.
• Participating actively in the evolution and modernization of the IT workshop, by developing new activities and new media.
• Imagining and animating projects around digital technology, computing, graphic design, office software, photography, video, multimedia, or even social networks.
• Developing individual or collective projects promoting autonomy, creativity, social participation, and the enhancement of each person's skills.
• Being a source of proposals and contributing to giving a current, creative, and innovative dynamic to the workshop.
• Adapting tools, software, peripherals, and workstations to the needs and abilities of the residents.
• Exploring new digital tools and uses likely to enrich the proposed activities.
• Collaborating with socio-educational, nursing, and therapeutic teams in order to integrate the workshop activities into the individualized projects of the residents.

Your profile:

• Ideally, you benefit from training as a socio-professional instructor ES, an IT specialist, a media technician, or have relevant experience in support and/or the digital field.
• You are comfortable with IT and various digital tools and wish to put your skills at the service of the residents.
• You are a motivated, creative, curious person, ready to invest yourself in the development and modernization of the workshop.
• You attach particular importance to the quality of support and know how to adapt your proposals to the abilities, needs, and pace of each resident.
• You have a real interest in supporting people with neurological diseases or brain injuries.
• You are interested in new technologies and the possibilities they can offer to people with physical or cognitive limitations.
