The Schule Bümpliz/Höhe is one of four schools in the Schulkreis Bümpliz in the west of the city of Bern. 800 children and adolescents are taught here by around 100 teachers. The 15 classes of Cycle 3 are located in the Schulhaus Bümpliz. We implement Model 4 with mixed-level classes in all subject areas. To reinforce our team, we are looking for starting February 1, 2027:

Tasks ###

Our pedagogical concept provides for various forms of instruction: - Self-regulated learning in subject worlds - Interdisciplinary teaching in theme worlds - Year-round project-based learning - Ateliers for art and craft - Workshops on supra-curricular competencies - Rituals at the start of the day The IF teachers accompany and support students, particularly in self-regulated learning and supra-curricular competencies. In the role of learning coaches, all teachers contribute to the learning success of the adolescents. The learning coaches are the contact persons for the legal guardians. Requirements ###

You possess a diploma in Special Education (Schulische Heilpädagogik) or a comparable qualification, or are nearing the completion of studies in this field. We are also open to regular teachers who wish to delve into special education. Career changers with teaching experience are also welcome to apply. You are open to innovative forms of teaching and enjoy working in multi-professional teams.
