Ref 2578809 | Date: 14 Sept 2026 State of Neuchâtel Deputy Director of the Building and Construction pole of the CPNE at 50% E-CPNE95Service des formations postobligatoires et de l'orientation (SFPO) - Centre de formation professionnelle neuchâtelois (CPNE) The CPNE is the reference actor regarding vocational training offers in the canton of Neuchâtel. We offer training and support in the different levels of vocational training (initial, higher, and continuous training). Your missions As a member of the management, you provide support to the director in the management of the pole and are responsible for the follow-up of persons in initial training. In collaboration with the training coordinators and class masters, you ensure the follow-up of students and, in situations of failure, plan and conduct interviews. Added to this are the organization of occasional activities such as annual professional knowledge assessments (BAC), visits or meetings with our partners. You assist teachers in case of problems preventing the smooth running of courses and seek solutions in order to maintain a pleasant working climate. With the support of vocational training advisors, the student advisor, legal representatives and employers, you manage particular situations. Furthermore, you are responsible for communication aimed at persons in training. You exercise your activities in compliance with the directives and processes outlined in the integrated Quality-Environment-Safety (QES) system and also collaborate on its development. Finally, you complete your activity as deputy director by assuming a teaching load that can go up to a maximum equivalent to a full-time position. Your profile Having benefited from tertiary-level training (master's or federal diploma) in the field of building or construction or a title deemed equivalent, you also hold a pedagogical diploma from the Haute école en formation professionnelle (HEFP). Your experience in teaching and supporting persons in training is accompanied by a perfect knowledge of the Swiss training system. Equipped with excellent organizational skills, you know how to carry out your missions with rigor, even under pressure, and work autonomously. You demonstrate great interpersonal ease and know how to integrate easily into a management team. Furthermore, you are willing to follow the training in management of training institutions (FORDIF) while employed to enrich your skills. You live in Switzerland in accordance with the legal requirements for holders of public office.
