Head of Logistics ad interim

Nishcom is in the middle of a transformation: away from classic hierarchy, towards a logistics organization in which teams think and act independently. This journey now needs an experienced leader who knows how to carry such a change - and how to take people along with them.
As Head of Logistics ad interim, you will take on the operational and leadership responsibility for our logistics area in Langenthal with around 30–35 employees and three team leaders. You will report directly to the COO.

• Leadership & Stability: You will take on the disciplinary and technical leadership of the three team leaders (goods receipt/returns, picking, cargo) and their teams and ensure continuity in day-to-day business.
• Accompanying Transformation: You will specifically develop the team leaders – towards modern, empowering leadership. You coach, provide orientation, and make self-responsibility tangible at the team level.
• Promoting Self-organization: You will actively drive the development of self-organizing teams: structures, rituals, decision-making competencies – with moderation and practical relevance.
• Operational Control: You are responsible for the planning, coordination, and quality of the daily logistics operations – from prioritization during bottlenecks to cross-departmental cooperation.
• Handover & Documentation: You ensure that knowledge and ongoing initiatives are cleanly documented and ready for handover – for sustainable continuity beyond your mandate.
• Transformation Experience: You have already led a logistics or operational area through a change process and can concretely describe how you took people along with you.
• Depth of Leadership: Several years of experience in leading leaders (leadership of leaders), ideally in a comparable operational environment.
• Coaching Attitude: You develop team leaders not by instructing, but by accompanying. Modern, empowering leadership is part of your everyday life.
• Operational Backbone: You know the logistics operation from the inside and can intervene deeply in day-to-day business if necessary – without getting stuck there.
• Interim Mentality: Fixed-term mandates and open situations suit you – you quickly find orientation and leave behind more order than you found.
• Language & Presence: Very good German skills, clear communication at all levels – from the employee to the COO.
