The Vocational Training and Career Counseling department is the competence center for all matters regarding basic and continuing vocational training in the Canton of Schaffhausen. It opens perspectives and creates conditions so that young people and adults can develop and implement their professional potential. The department includes the departments of Vocational Training, Case Management, Vocational, Study and Career Counseling, as well as Training Grants.

We are looking for reinforcement for our Qualification Procedures specialist unit team as of 01.01.2027 or by arrangement.

What to expect ##

• You competently support the Qualification Procedures (QV) specialist unit in all administrative and organizational matters
• You reliably manage the secretariat of the specialist unit and handle daily correspondence
• You are the friendly contact person for information regarding the qualification procedures (by telephone and in writing)
• You record, maintain and check data in our vocational training software
• During peak workloads, you flexibly support the secretariat team of the training supervision

What you bring with you ##

• Basic commercial training (EFZ) or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in the secretariat or administration area
• Willingness to work overtime during the intensive examination phase (spring/summer)
• Lived flexibility and a high degree of teamwork
• Networked thinking, combined with independent and structured working
• Proficient in using MS Office / M365 as well as enjoyment of working with databases and specialized applications
• Strong communication personality with stylish German in speech and writing
