School-family advisor (CEF) at 20 or 30%
As a socio-educational work professional within the Service de Cohésion sociale, enfance & jeunesse, the CEF is a resource person available to families and educational establishments. Through their professional field of competence, he/she contributes to promoting collaboration between families, teachers, and the stakeholders surrounding the student and their family. The CEF is required to collaborate with the management board of the educational establishment, families, children and adolescents in school, but also the Commune, as well as after-school services and various partners. He/she promotes the prevention of risks of precariousness and/or socio-educational risks, as well as school and social integration, for both the students and their families. Intervention territory: Primary establishments of Prangins (1P-8P) and Secondary establishment (9S to 12S).
Your missions

• Listen to, support, advise, and guide students and/or families in confidentiality and respect for the individual
• Seek potential solutions related to a school, family, or social issue in collaboration with parents, students, teachers, or the stakeholders concerned
• Inform, accompany, and promote synergies between the various partners
• Through partnership work and networks established in the broader social field, intervene with the child at the request of families and/or the management board
• At the request of families and/or the management board, participate in interviews between the family and the school, in order to best support families in this partnership and to ensure a role as a facilitator in school-family communication
• Accompany families in their administrative, psychosocial, legal, and/or financial procedures
• Receive families at the office, at the school, or at the family's home.

Your profile

• HES training in the field of social work
• Significant experience in the field of social work
• Ability to adapt to a work context attached to a communal Administration
• Ability to work autonomously and in partnership-networks
• Good understanding of federal and cantonal legislation
• Provide a standard clean criminal record extract
