Gymnasium Lerbermatt with over 1'500 students, around 160 teachers and 25 employees is located on the outskirts of Bern in the area of the municipality of Köniz. A team of four employees is responsible for the operational processes, the maintenance of the school buildings and the indoor and outdoor sports facilities and is looking for reinforcement as of 09.11.2026.

Your tasks

• General caretaker activities together with four facility services employees
• Maintenance, repair, maintenance work and cleaning of the buildings, the furniture, equipment for teaching purposes as well as special equipment (microscope etc.)
• General organizational and administrative work in the processing of the daily business of the facility services (orders, reception and information service, parking management etc.)
• Garden maintenance work in the outdoor area and the outdoor sports facility and other activities, partly also involving physical exertion (snow removal etc.)

Your profile

• Vocational qualification in a manual trade with many years of experience as a manual employee
• Broad manual skills
• Good knowledge in the field of school and sports facilities
• Very good social competence in dealing with the various stakeholder groups (school management, teachers, students, external users, authorities)
• Good knowledge in written and oral communication
• ideally driving license Cat. B
• Preferred working days: Monday and possibly Friday (the 20% can be divided over two days)
