Mobile Basel is engaged in eight inpatient and outpatient residential offerings for the social inclusion of people with mental challenges and disabilities.

As a residential institution, the Dependance Mobile Basel accompanies 15 adults in open penal measures execution or conditional release in challenging life situations, on behalf of the justice system or the disability assistance Basel-Stadt - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Your tasks

You accompany clients in the inpatient and outpatient setting and support them on the way to more independence and social participation. In doing so

• you shape the daily work routine: care - exchange with work partners - report writing - documentation of progress observation - case management - cooking in the evening - medication management and administration - process design - daily report - as a rule, one on-call service per week with an overnight stay on site
• as a reference person, you develop realistic perspectives and appropriate measures together with clients
• you work together with authorities of adult protection, probation and disability assistance, and other partners
• you contribute your professional view to case work and concept development
• you help shape the further development of our self-organized way of working

What you bring with you

• Degree in Social Work HF/FH or Psychology Uni/FH
• Experience in accompanying people in challenging life situations
• Interest in socio-pedagogical, forensic, addiction, or psychiatry-related issues
• Joy in independent work and joint decisions
• Ability to act clearly, reflectively, and solution-oriented even in demanding situations
• Appreciative communication, humor, and resilience
