Are you familiar with Swiss payroll accounting, do you work precisely, and do you maintain an overview even with complex payroll processes?

For our client, an internationally active and established technology company in the St. Galler Rheintal, we are looking for a reliable and committed personality as part of a maternity cover. The company offers a versatile working environment with several Swiss companies and different requirements in the area of payroll accounting and social insurance. In this role, you will support an experienced payroll team and independently undertake responsible tasks in the monthly payroll processing.

Payroll Specialist 80–100% (m/f/d) – temporary

Your tasks

Participation in the monthly payroll processing for several Swiss companies
Independent processing of social insurance notifications such as EO, maternity, accident, and daily sickness benefits
Support in the processing and control of withholding tax
Maintenance and verification of payroll-relevant personnel and master data in SAP HCM
Control and reconciliation of invoices as well as social insurance-relevant notifications
Coding and preparation of documents for financial accounting
Carrying out regular payroll controls as well as participation in periodic closings and year-end work
Creation and evaluation of payroll-related data and reports in Excel
Collaboration with internal specialist departments, social insurance institutions, and external contact persons
Your profile

Practical professional experience in Swiss payroll accounting
Good knowledge of Swiss social insurance and withholding tax
Experience with SAP HCM, ideally in the payroll area
Confident handling of MS Excel and common Office applications
Good understanding of the connections between payroll accounting, social insurance, and financial accounting
Independent, structured, and careful way of working
High sense of responsibility, discretion, and reliability
Team-oriented personality with quick comprehension
Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
