Chemical Laboratory Technician (m/f/d), 100%, Temporary for 12 months

Introduction

For our client, an internationally active company in the field of Life Sciences and Diagnostics in the Zug region, we are looking for a chemical laboratory technician for a fixed-term assignment of 12 months, effective immediately.

The position is ideal for chemical laboratory technicians or chemistry graduates with initial professional experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. In addition to applying your existing knowledge, this position offers you the opportunity to develop professionally and build additional expertise either in the area of Quality Control (QC) or in the environment of sequencing-based diagnostic assays. In doing so, you will become acquainted with new methods and processes in an innovative life science environment. In the event of successful deployment, there is the possibility of an extension.

Tasks

• Execution of quality controls and analytical testing of raw materials, intermediate and final products
• Documentation and evaluation of laboratory results according to GMP guidelines
• Support in the manufacture of chemical products and reagents
• Collaboration in process optimizations as well as cooperation with various specialist departments
• Timely execution and documentation of analyses
• Execution of SAP transactions

Profile

• Training as Chemielaborant EFZ or Bachelor's degree in chemistry
• 1-2 years of professional experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical or diagnostic environment
• GMP experience and a strong awareness of quality
• Independent, reliable and team-oriented way of working
• High willingness to learn and commitment
• Good German skills, English skills an advantage
