As an alternative to Gymnasium and apprenticeships, the Maturitätsschulen for the professional and academic world of tomorrow serve as a foundation, which the Fach- und Wirtschaftsmittelschulzentrum Luzern (FMZ) offers in school-oriented basic vocational training. These include the Wirtschaftsmittelschule, the Informatikmittelschule, the Fachklasse Grafik, the Fachmittelschule, the Gesundheitsmittelschule, as well as the Berufsmittelschule Gesundheit & Soziales. The approximately 800 learners attend classes at the school locations Hirschengraben and Krienbach in Luzern as well as Viscosistadt in Emmenbrücke.

Your Tasks

• You teach the subject of Physics in various vocational and specialist maturity classes.
• With exciting teaching units, you show our learners the diverse application possibilities of the natural sciences.
• For final and project works, you supervise the learners and specifically promote the development of their skills.
• You are involved in the subject department, at conferences and at school events and contribute to a positive school culture.

Your Profile

• You have a university degree in the scientific subject of Physics as well as a teaching diploma for Secondary Level II (Berufsmaturität or Maturitätsschulen).
• You enjoy working with adolescents and young adults and like to accompany them on their way into professional life.
• You value professional exchange within the faculty and actively contribute to the cooperation.
• An additional qualification in Mathematics is a plus.
