The Social Department is divided into the areas of Social Assistance, Adult and Child Protection, Specialist Services, as well as Generations and Neighborhood Work. Social Work Professional 60+ Pilot Project «überBrücken» 50-60% ##

starting from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, for a limited period of three years

Time for a professional change?

• You will set up the advisory center «überBrücken» as part of the pilot project
• You will conduct preventive calls and home visits following tips from organizations from the Sozialen Netz Ostermundigen
• You will advise, support, and accompany people in challenging life transitions and during critical life events, with a focus on older persons
• You will inform and sensitize specialists and key persons for early detection and organize training within the environment of the Sozialen Netzwerk Ostermundigen
• You will work closely with the specialist departments for Adult Protection and outreach social work

Can you answer the following questions with YES?

• Do you have a university degree in Social Work or a comparable discipline?
• Do you encounter people in difficult life situations with professional empathy?
• Do you have experience in social counseling and elderly work and ideally know your way around the official context and economic social assistance?
