Application Engineer

For our client, an international company specializing in the development of high-precision technological solutions in the Neuchâtel region, we are looking for a:

Applications Engineer (M/F)

This is a temporary mission of approximately 6 months, with the possibility of evolving into a permanent position depending on the company's needs and the suitability of the profile.

Your responsibilities:

Within a specialized technical team, you will contribute to the development and support of applications intended for demanding industrial and scientific environments:

• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers on the proposed applications and solutions
• Contribute to the evaluation and validation of technical solutions as part of customer projects and internal developments
• Interpret results and write the associated technical documentation
• Support the evolution of the proposed solutions in order to meet user needs and market requirements
• Contribute to the training of users and internal employees
• Collaborate with R&D, sales, and technical teams to ensure the success of projects
• Participate in the creation of technical support materials and documentation intended for users

Your profile:

• Higher education in engineering, physics, materials science, microtechnology, or a field deemed equivalent
• Marked interest in measurement technologies and materials analysis
• Experience in materials characterization, mechanical testing, or laboratory technologies is an asset, particularly in environments using nanoindentation, tribology, or atomic force microscopy (AFM)
• Excellent ability for analysis and technical problem solving
• Ease in writing reports and technical documentation
• Very good knowledge of French and English
• Autonomous, rigorous, and service-oriented personality
