The main tasks include the emptying and cleaning of public waste containers.

Perform manual cleaning

In addition, you are responsible for the manual cleaning of public spaces.

Utilize morning hours

The position is limited to one year. The working hours are on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 6:45 to 11:00.

Education

A completed school education as well as a category B driver's license are required for this position.

Language

The Tiefbauamt coordinates, plans, builds, documents, and maintains the roads with the associated infrastructures and is responsible for the public sewage systems. It is responsible for flood protection and for safe transport routes. It also coordinates the use of public spaces and is the lead authority in the permit process. It collects and disposes of waste and ensures cleanliness in the city of Basel. The Tiefbauamt makes an important contribution to a high quality of life in Basel and is part of the Bau- und Verkehrsdepartement.
