The Breitfeld/Wankdorf school location is located in the beautiful Breitenrain district in Bern. The Breitfeld/Wankdorf school location includes three school buildings (Breitfeld, Markus, Wankdorf) as well as three external basic levels. We orient ourselves towards the concept of New Authority and work according to the principles of presence, self-control, resistance, networking and publicity, postponement and de-escalation, perseverance and reparation.

Tasks ###

For the support of a child with special support needs (bVSA int.), we are looking for a committed, resilient and relationship-strong school special education teacher (female) or school special education teacher (male). The child occasionally shows very challenging behavior and tests boundaries. For everyday school life, it requires a reliable reference person who creates clear structures, conveys security and can build sustainable relationships with an appreciative attitude. Intensive contact with parents, regular exchange within the class team and the EB specialist department, as well as the creation of an educational plan, are also part of your tasks.

Requirements ###

You should have a special education training. We are looking for a personality who succeeds in winning the child's trust and, together with the child and the entire class team, profitably supporting the reintegration into the regular class. Working days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10.20 - 11.50. 6 hours of class assistance can be taught additionally. Ideally, these take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
