This is the contribution you can make

• Further develop the IT applications of Rechtsinformatik as a "Product Owner" in agile projects
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and closely coordinate the IT service providers
• Structure and prioritize requirements with the specialist departments
• Align the product strategy with legal requirements, political goals, and IT strategies
• Support the project team in selecting effective technologies
• Develop technical foundations for project assignments, contribute IT expert knowledge, and analyze solution strategies

What makes you unique

• University degree or equivalent training (e.g., in business administration, business informatics, or engineering)
• Knowledge of project management methods, ideally as <<Product Owner>> in an agile environment (CSPO, IPMA, SAFE or similar)
• An affinity for legal issues is an advantage
• Analytical, conceptual, and networked thinking, communication skills, and service orientation
• Good knowledge of two official languages as well as English skills

The Bundesamt für Justiz is the legal competence center of the Confederation. It manages legislative projects in state, administrative, private, and criminal law, provides advisory support for all legislative transactions of the Confederation, and is active in the international field.

The Fachbereich Rechtsinformatik develops and promotes new information technologies in the justice sector and leads national large-scale projects within the framework of the E-Government strategy.
