Assistant Coordinator Domestic Violence #

The domestic violence coordination center networks all services in the canton dealing with the prevention and fight against domestic and gender-based violence, including the police, justice, healthcare, victim support and other counseling centers. It coordinates the implementation of the Istanbul Convention as well as national and cantonal strategies, develops concepts for domestic violence management and promotes knowledge transfer, prevention and early detection. During the approximately four-month absence of the job holder as well as for an additional eight months, we are looking for a committed person who will ensure the ongoing coordination and take charge of their own projects.

We are looking for the Office des affaires sociales from 1 January 2027 or by agreement for an Assistant Coordinator Domestic Violence. The position is limited until 31 December 2027.

Your area of responsibility

• Ensure coordination between the services involved as well as the function of contact person for internal and external services and organizations during the absence of the job holder.
• Responsibility for the preparation and implementation of the 2027 domestic violence action days as well as the preparation and implementation of awareness actions.
• Participation in the implementation of cantonal data collection in the field of domestic and gender-based violence.
• Collaboration with the job holder on various projects and tasks before and after their absence.

What we expect from you

• University degree in social or legal sciences or equivalent training
• Conceptual skills
• Practical experience in planning and implementing projects
• Experience in the field of domestic violence, legislation, data collection, victim support, prevention or in public administration is an asset
• Good ability to assimilate and excellent oral and written expression
• Autonomous and structured work
• Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
