The municipality of Büren a.A. is a regional center municipality that offers a wide range of services. One of the four departments is the Regional Social Service (RSD), which is responsible for the catchment area of ten municipalities with well over 12-850 inhabitants.

We are looking for, as of 01.11.2026 or by arrangement, for our polyvalent social service a

Social Worker 70-80% ##

Your tasks

• Clarifying, directing, and mediating economic social assistance or other support services
• Processing clarification assignments and managing mandates in child and adult protection
• Preventive counseling for people seeking help and their contact persons
• Administrative work in direct connection with case management with the support of the admin team
• Cooperation with colleagues, institutions, and authorities

Your profile

• Completed training as a social worker (BSc/FH)
• Professional experience in a polyvalent social service
• Flair for challenging situations and legal questions
• Resilient, team-oriented, humorous person
• Expedient, reliable, solution-oriented, independent way of working and networked thinking
• Good PC user knowledge, advantageously case management with KLIB
