In order to complete its team within the Municipal Police, the Commune of Plan-les-Ouates is looking for: PARKING CONTROLLER (M/F) Permanent position at 50% - Class 7 Your mission: * Ensure compliance with road legislation regarding parking on public roads; * Proceed with the issuing of fines to infringing vehicles; * Control parking zones with permits and parking meters; * Perform maintenance on technical devices dedicated to parking management; * Carry out administrative tasks related to the function; * Ensure the replacement of school crossing guards if needed; * Provide support to municipal police officers for various missions (preparation and supervision of events, management of public signage, etc.); * Inform motorists and other road users about traffic measures taken in case of specific events, in support of law enforcement; * Provide information to road and public highway users, notably: information on traffic difficulties or construction sites on public roads, advice regarding orientation or travel. Your assets for this function: * Swiss nationality or valid work permit; * Clean criminal record and extract from the debt collection register; * Mastery of spoken and written French; * Category B driver's license; * Sense of service and contact with the population; * Good knowledge of the functioning of Swiss institutions; * Ability to make decisions, self-control, and diplomacy; * Rigor and respect for procedures; * Good knowledge of traffic, road signage, laws, and regulations; * Willingness to work outdoors in all weather; * Availability to work according to irregular hours, including weekends.
