We are a care home and we are committed to the support of people suffering from dementia as well as palliative care in basic care for 84 people from 18 years old. The care concept is based on midwifery-style reference care.

We are looking for, by agreement, a registered nurse for night shifts (50% - 70% workload). Participate in the night - in a responsible, empathetic & competent manner.

Your tasks

• You assume professional responsibility for the care and support of our residents during the night.
• You ensure professional, individual and needs-adapted care.
• You are an important contact person for residents, relatives, the nursing team as well as doctors.
• You detect changes early, take the necessary measures and act in a calm, composed and competent manner in case of emergency.
• You guarantee flawless documentation and transmission of information for continuous care follow-up.
• You work autonomously, assume responsibilities and coordinate nursing tasks during the night.
• You actively contribute your experience and professional knowledge to the development of the quality of our care.

What you bring

• Completed tertiary training as a registered nurse HF/FH.
• Professional experience in long-term care, ideally experience in night shifts.
• Knowledge in palliative care or willingness to train in this field.
• Autonomous, reliable and resilient personality with a great sense of responsibility.
• Professional and respectful communication - even in difficult situations.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German as well as a good understanding of Swiss German.
• Joy of working autonomously at night while being part of a committed team.
