After-school Care Manager, 80 %

We are looking for an after-school care manager 80% for the Tagesschule Pfingstweid, starting immediately or by arrangement.
Working days: 5 days, Monday to Friday

Tasks ##

• Co-designing the care and leisure activities of children at the kindergarten level in the all-day school model and holiday care
• Implementation of socio-pedagogical professional competence in the all-day school operation
• Promotion and support of the children in cooperation with teachers and other specialists of the school team
• Participation in school development (working groups, etc.) and at school events
• Implementation and further development of the school's pedagogical goals

Profile ##

• Degree in Social Pedagogy/Social Work FH/HF or an equivalent qualification is mandatory
• Applications with a foreign diploma must include a Swiss diploma recognition
• Professional experience in family-supplementary care is an advantage
• Experience in pedagogical and interdisciplinary cooperation
• Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive view of people
• Flexibility as well as very good teamwork and communication skills
• Enjoyment in dealing with people of different cultures

About us ##

The Schule Pfingstweid was put into operation in the summer of 2019 and is run as an all-day school. In the 2025/26 school year, it includes a total of 11 primary school classes and 4 kindergartens as well as 4 care facilities. In the Pfingstweid care, between 140 and 185 children are cared for daily in the all-day school model. The Schule Pfingstweid was put into operation in the summer of 2019 and is run as an all-day school. We orient ourselves towards the concepts of New Authority according to Chaim Omer and mixed-age learning according to Achermann and Gehrig. We live an equivalent networking of the areas of instruction and care.
