The Kantonsschule Seetal operates a 6-year long-term gymnasium and a 4-year short-term gymnasium in Baldegg. Both training courses lead to the federally recognized gymnasiale Maturität. Attached is the Fachmittelschule with the profiles of Pedagogy and Music. The school is located in the countryside and is optimally accessible. It has an excellent school climate and a wide, innovative range of offerings. The Kantonsschule Seetal comprises approx. 450 learners and about 60 teachers.

The Kantonsschule Beromünster is a supra-regional, manageable 6-year long-term gymnasium with the structures of an all-day school in the Luzerner Michelsamt. The rural, quiet location and the family atmosphere offer the approx. 330 learners and the around 45 teachers an optimal learning and teaching climate. The long-term gymnasium leads to the federally recognized gymnasiale Maturität.

The "a" in the job title stands for "alle" (all). The Canton of Luzern stands for diversity and variety.

At the Kantonsschulen Seetal and Beromünster, a versatile teaching activity awaits you with committed learners, modern infrastructure, and an appreciative togetherness.

You can combine your teaching activity at both locations or decide on one of the two school locations - we are open to both application paths.

Your tasks

• At the Kantonsschule Seetal the workload in the 2026/27 school year is 43 % and includes Monday morning as well as Tuesday morning and afternoon. From the 2027/28 school year, the workload increases to 57 %.
• At the Kantonsschule Beromünster, the workload comprises 35 % with assignments on Friday as well as every two weeks on Thursday afternoon.

Common tasks at both schools

• With enthusiasm and pedagogical sensitivity, you teach housekeeping in half-classes in the second year of the Untergymnasium (level UG2, 8th school year).
• You bring your interest in healthy nutrition and sustainable food production into your lessons with didactic skill.
• You are motivated to contribute your subject also within the framework of special days, study weeks, and school events to enable authentic experiences for your students.
• Together with specialist colleagues, you commit yourself to the further development of the subject and professional exchange in the Canton of Luzern.

Your profile

• You possess a teaching diploma for housekeeping at Sekundarstufe I or are close to completing it.
• Applications from career starters are just as welcome as those from experienced teachers.
