On behalf of one of our clients, a major player in the energy sector, we are looking for an Asset Manager specialized in the management of thermal assets and plants equipped with heat pumps.

Job Description ###

As part of this role, you will ensure the technical, economic, and operational monitoring of a portfolio of thermal assets.
In this capacity, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

• Develop, monitor, and control the OPEX budget of thermal assets, particularly plants equipped with heat pumps.
• Ensure the monitoring of the technical, energetic, and economic performance of the installations under your responsibility.
• Identify performance gaps, perform root cause analyses, and define corrective action plans.
• Develop, steer, and monitor the annual maintenance plan for the installations.
• Optimize the availability, reliability, efficiency, and overall performance of the equipment.
• Identify and monitor operational risks, define mitigation measures, and steer their implementation.
• Guarantee the regulatory and environmental compliance of the installations.
• Develop OPEX assumptions and ensure the monitoring of Business Plans for mature assets.
• Identify and prioritize optimization opportunities and implement continuous improvement actions.
• Ensure the management and monitoring of service providers as well as contractual aspects related to operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate the different interfaces with internal teams, technical partners, and external stakeholders.

Profile ###

• HES/EPF Engineer or training deemed equivalent in the fields of energy, thermal, mechanical, or industry.
• Ideally, you have at least 5 years of experience in the operation, maintenance, Asset Management, or performance management of energy or industrial installations.
• Experience in thermal installations, heat pumps, biomass, district heating networks (CAD), or similar industrial processes is a real asset.
• Proven experience in the financial management of assets and steering OPEX budgets.
• Strong skills in the analysis of technical, economic, and energetic performance.
• Good command of SAP, CMMS tools, Excel, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge in operational risk management and contractual management of service providers.
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with a strong results orientation.
• Autonomous and organized, you know how to manage priorities and steer several subjects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with technical, financial, and operational interlocutors.
• Excellent command of French; knowledge of English and/or German is an asset.
