For our customer, an established department store in Basel, we are looking for a stress-resistant and committed person as a Christmas Temporary Assistant Toys (m/f/d) by arrangement.

Your tasks
--------------

• Support in sales regarding toys and gift ideas during the Christmas season
• Friendly customer approach and competent assistance with product selection
• Processing of checkout transactions including careful handling of cash and receipts
• Merchandise presentation in the sales area: refilling, sorting and ensuring an attractive sales area
• Support with organizational activities in daily business (e.g. goods receipt as required)
• Contribution to a clean, tidy and customer-friendly store environment
• Cooperation with the team to ensure smooth processes even during high customer volume

Your profile

• Joy in toys and a genuine interest in recommending suitable products to customers
• Stress resistance and a calm, friendly manner even during the Christmas peak period
• Experience or confident practice in handling the cash register (e.g. cash register systems, settlement, receipt management)
• Reliability and a sense of responsibility in daily operations
• Teamwork skills as well as a service-oriented way of working
• Good German skills for communication with customers
• Flexibility for a temporary assignment for the Christmas business
