Tasks ##

Key data for the position

• Total workload, approx. 88 %, consisting of 13 WL regular lessons, 4 WL IF, 6 WL DaZ and 2 task hours
• 6th grade

Main tasks:

• Planning, preparation and implementation of lessons based on the curriculum
• Follow-up and evaluation of the lessons
• Advising students regarding individual learning and performance difficulties as well as pointing out development opportunities
• Collaboration within the faculty, with the school management, external specialist agencies and the legal guardians

Profile ##

• Teaching diploma for the primary level (recognized in Switzerland) or in training
• Joy in teaching students from a wide variety of cultures
• Strong skills in classroom management
• Readiness and joy in working in an integrated setting, together with special education teachers

We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 19 schools. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively. Additional support in challenging situations with students is available at every school through the personnel and spatial resources of STIS (Stay in School).

The Riedenhalden school (10 secondary classes, 10 primary classes, 3 kindergartens and 5 after-school care centers) is located in the center of the Affoltern district and only a few minutes' walk from the S-Bahn stop. Since this school year, we have been a day school. As a long-standing QUIMS school, we bring great experience to our multicultural environment.
