April 2027 The Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. In the Prorektorat Weiterbildung und Dienstleistungen, the Abteilung Internationale Bildungsentwicklung (IB) supports schools and organizations in the areas of democracy education, vocational orientation, life skills, and multilingualism. In Switzerland and abroad, it provides further training for teachers, school leaders, social workers, and authorities. In this versatile interface function, you will combine operational financial responsibility with project controlling, with consulting and the further development of financial processes. Finance and Accounting * Responsibility for financial administration, accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as payment transactions (without payroll) * Support the department management in budgeting, multi-year planning, forecast, annual financial statements, and resource planning * Creating financial analyses at department and center levels Project Controlling and Consulting * Financial controlling of third-party funded projects including budgeting, reporting, and audit support * Advising managers and project leaders on financial management, key figures, and contribution margins * Interface between project management, project leaders, and the finance department Further Development of Processes and Instruments * Development and maintenance of financial tools, templates, and standards * Coordination and participation in the standardization of financial processes in the Prorektorat * Further development of instruments for the planning, calculation, analysis, and management of continuing education and service offerings What you bring. * Commercial basic training with further training in finance and accounting or comparable qualification * Several years of experience in finance and accounting as well as sound controlling knowledge, ideally in project or third-party funding controlling in international cooperation * Experience in budgeting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting * Very good Excel and sound Microsoft Office skills; interest in digital financial tools and data-based analyses. Power BI or comparable instruments are a plus. * Very good German and English skills; French and other languages are welcome * Independent, structured, and reliable way of working as well as enjoyment in the further development of processes * Strong service and solution orientation as well as consulting competence * Openness and enjoyment in working with partners in different cultural and institutional contexts What will inspire you.
