The Bibliothek Herisau is a modern regional library with an integrated toy library offering and an important cultural meeting place for people of all ages. Your tasks

• Strategic, operational and personnel overall management of the library
• Continuation and development of the media collections
• Maintenance and expansion of public relations as well as contact with sponsors, offices, foundations etc.
• Responsibility for budget, planning and quality development
• Cooperation and exchange with the regional libraries in the Appenzellerland

Your profile

• Training in library science, book trade or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in a similar position
• High customer orientation paired with an independent and responsible way of working
• Experience or affinity in the field of Social Media
• Good IT skills
• Team and communication skills
