The Zweckverband Sozialdienste Bezirk Dielsdorf performs tasks in the areas of adult protection, various advisory and supervisory specialist offices on behalf of the 22 district municipalities and operates the KESB Bezirk Dielsdorf.

For this, we are looking for an experienced personality who takes responsibility, leads a small specialist team, and actively develops our financial processes as well as cross-departmental projects.

Your tasks ###

• You lead the Finance & Personnel Administration department professionally and personally and develop it together with your team of three specialist employees.
• You are responsible for the annual financial statements, budget, projections, and financial planning of the Zweckverband and further develop our controlling.
• You monitor the financial accounting, ensure liquidity planning, and work together with the auditing body, RPK, and other external bodies.
• You are responsible for personnel administration and ensure deputy coverage for the monthly payroll.
• You further develop the risk management of the SDBD - in particular IKS, security organization, and in cooperation with the Central Services, the area of data protection and information security.
• You lead cross-departmental strategic projects on behalf of the management, particularly in the areas of digitalization and organizational development.
• You coordinate internal specialist departments as well as external partners and service providers and ensure demand-oriented, economical, and practical implementation.
• You prepare meaningful evaluations and reports for the management and represent your area to control bodies and service providers.

What you bring with you ###

• Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in business administration, public management, or a comparable field, or higher training in finance and accounting (e.g., Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting, HF/FH)
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting in a municipality, a Zweckverband, or a comparable public law organization
• Sound knowledge of public accounting / HRM2 as well as experience with annual financial statements, budgeting, and controlling
• Leadership experience or proven experience in professional leadership. Further training in personnel leadership is an advantage or can be completed later.
• Experience in human resources and project management is an advantage.
• Proficient use of Abacus and MS Office, especially Excel
• Confident German in speaking and writing
