Your tasks

• You are responsible for the organization and implementation of transport and logistics tasks within the city library and the library association.
• You coordinate and are responsible for the procurement of office supplies, cleaning, and household items.
• You support various maintenance tasks, for example, with minor repairs and waste management.
• You actively work in customer service and are prepared to take on regular weekend shifts.

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training (EFZ), preferably in the field of facility management or logistics.
• You are characterized by a high service orientation, social competence, and initiative, and have an affinity for media and libraries.
• You are physically resilient and bring manual dexterity.
• You have good German language skills at least at B2 level.
• You have good IT user knowledge and are confident in using common digital applications.
• Ideally, you have a driving license of category B.

The Stadtbibliothek Luzern is the largest public library in Central Switzerland. In addition to the locations in Bourbaki and in Ruopigen, the city library also operates a mobile branch, the Bibliobus. With this, eight locations in the city of Luzern are served year-round. In all weather, the Bibliobus brings visitors -- especially children -- current media of all kinds, a leisure and event offering, and infrastructure for staying and meeting directly into the neighborhood.
