The residential house in Uster offers people after a mental crisis or a hospital stay a protected living space - with 12 hours of individual care per day. We stand by our residents reliably and cooperatively and, with support in the household, community activities, and external occupations, promote the path to a socially stable and independent life.

Operations Manager - Residential House Uster, 70-80% ##

In this versatile leadership role, you combine technical and economic responsibility, personnel management, and the direct support of people with mental impairments. Together with your team, you shape a residential offer that promotes independence, participation, and individual development.

What are your tasks

• You lead the operation as well as the specialist staff and ensure a well-organized and professional everyday operational routine
• You bear the economic responsibility for your area, ensure economical and resource-conscious use of funds, and keep an eye on budget and cost development
• You actively participate in shaping the technical and conceptual further development of the area
• You accompany, support, and promote the residents in managing their everyday life with the goal of as independent and self-determined a lifestyle as possible
• In addition to your leadership tasks, you actively take on shift duties and key person work. You ensure individual, needs-based support for the residents
• You participate in the on-call service and thereby guarantee the necessary availability and support outside of regular operating hours
• You ensure compliance with the qualitative requirements according to SODK Ost+
• You maintain cooperation and networking with the helper system as well as with referring agencies
• You take on administrative and organizational tasks within your area of responsibility and participate in projects

What you bring with you

• Education and professional experience in psychiatry, social work, social pedagogy, or a comparable specialist field
• Leadership experience as well as enjoyment in leading employees participatively and appreciatively
• Sound experience in the area of residential living
• Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to take responsibility and make decisions
• Good organizational and communicative skills as well as an independent and proactive way of working
• Experience in administrative tasks and project work
• Good user knowledge of common Microsoft Office programs
• Humor, serenity, and joy in working with people
