Through their work in the five social centers, the Social Services ensure that people in the city of Zürich can rely on effective basic social services.

For our experienced team in the Sozialzentrum Albisriederhaus, we are looking for a committed personality as of November 2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You advise and support adult clients and families in financial and social matters and develop sustainable perspectives together with them.
• You manage cases in economic social assistance and/or take on civil law mandates in child protection.
• You clarify complex life situations, make professional assessments, and coordinate cooperation with internal and external bodies.
• You manage your cases independently and take responsibility for professional and comprehensible case management.
• You work closely with clerks, specialist departments, and your team and benefit from mutual professional exchange.

Profile ##

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work
• Professional experience in child protection and/or in statutory social work; corresponding further training is an advantage
• Quick comprehension and the ability to professionally assess complex situations
• Confident appearance and clarity even in demanding conversations
• Professional handling of different interests and the ability to build sustainable relationships even in conflicts
