Layout Designer 70-80% - Media Jobs

You are an important pillar of our publishing house and, with a lot of creative freedom and development opportunities, help shape the appearance of our media products. Applications from younger personalities from the local area are particularly welcome!

Your tasks

• In close contact with the editorial and publishing management, you layout the «Schweizerzeit» magazine and other periodicals. You implement orders expeditiously and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• You are in regular contact with printing companies and manage customer projects independently
• Professional image editing for pre-press
• Layout and design of graphics, flyers, logos, advertisements, posters and other visual elements
• Development and design of corporate designs
• Participation in the conception and production of print and advertising products
• Tasks in social media, web design, video editing and e-mail marketing (experience an advantage)

What you bring

• Completed vocational training as a Polygraf/in EFZ, graphic designer, Mediamatiker or equivalent
• Preferably professional experience in the graphics industry (motivated career starters are also welcome)
• Precise, reliable as well as team- and customer-oriented way of working
• Sense of responsibility and duty, initiative and independent way of working
• Creativity, willingness to learn and an eye for detail
• Confident handling of Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator)
• You think in networks, are resilient, flexible and keep an overview even in hectic situations
• Affinity for the professional field of Mediamatiker an advantage
• Web design skills desired
• You are loyal and stand by the values of our publishing house
