The Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS) offers part-time Bachelor's, Master's, and continuing education degree programs using the blended learning method. For our current approximately 3100 students, we employ 180 staff members as well as over 550 (part-time) lecturers. Head of Department Data Science (part-time, 30%)

These are your tasks

• Substantive and didactic further development and updating of the modules in cooperation with the lecturers and the degree program management
• Organization, quality assurance, and further development of the department
• Networking in the Data Science community
• Leadership and supervision of the lecturers in coordination with the degree program management
• Sparring partner for lecturers on technical and didactic questions
• Organization, implementation, and participation in meetings
• Lecturer activity

What you bring with you

• Communicative, proactive, and winning personality with a good dose of serenity and humor
• Completed university studies at Master's level in Computer Science / Data Science or a related field
• Very good networking with the professional world and proven experience in higher education teaching
• Didactic qualification, as well as high affinity for e-learning or willingness to develop further in this area
• Committed and reliable way of working as well as leadership responsibility
• Excellent German and good English skills
