The Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Hohenrain is a competence center for the training, promotion, and care of around 200 children and adolescents in the areas of cognitive development and language development in teaching, social pedagogy, and therapy from the basic level up to the age of 18. Around 300 employees from various professions in the areas of teaching, social pedagogy, therapy, care, housekeeping, technical services, and administration contribute to this.

At the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Hohenrain, you will accompany and support around 200 children and adolescents with cognitive or linguistic impairments - from kindergarten to leaving school - together with a dedicated team. The central goal is to support the children and adolescents on their way to the greatest possible independence. We are looking for class assistants for various classes in the cognitive area.

Your tasks

• As a class assistant, you support the teachers in lessons.
• You will experience enriching cooperation with children and adolescents with a cognitive impairment.
• You will support and accompany our students in individual promotion with great joy.
• You will work closely with a dedicated and helpful team.

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training and have already been able to gain experience in a comparable activity.
• Your interest in pedagogical questions is high and you enjoy working with children and adolescents with a cognitive impairment.
• You have good German skills in speaking and writing as well as basic IT skills.
• With your positive and proactive personality and your sense of humor, you are the ideal addition to our team.
