Business Controller: Financial Aid Contract

The Krebsliga Schweiz, based in Bern, is the umbrella organization of the 18 cantonal and regional Krebsligen. For over 110 years, we have been committed to those affected by cancer and their environment. We advocate for a world in which fewer people fall ill with cancer. Our main tasks include advice, support, and information. We are active in cancer prevention and early detection and offer training and further education for specialists. Krebsliga Schweiz is based in Bern and is largely financed through donations. Due to the retirement of the current job holder, we are looking for a Business Controller: Financial Aid Contract, employment degree 80%, as of 1 May 2027 or by arrangement. Do you want to use your controlling experience for a socially relevant task? In this key role, you will be responsible for our contract for the distribution of financial aid. You are the central contact person for the Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen (BSV) and manage the contractual cooperation with our 15 German- and French-speaking sub-contractors. Your main tasks include: * BSV reporting and data management: Coordination, consolidation, and quality assurance of annual reporting as well as the further development of controlling, key performance indicator, and data systems. * Financing and controlling: Ensuring an appropriate distribution of financial aid as well as checking and processing cost, performance, and contribution data. * Contract management: Management of sub-contracts, support for contract negotiations, and coordination of new contract requests with the BSV. * Implementation and quality assurance: Ensuring new contractual specifications as well as participating in the quality development and assurance of the subsidized services. * Consulting and audits: Advice and training for sub-contractors as well as coordination and support of BSV audits. What you bring with you * Tertiary-level training in business administration, controlling/accounting * Several years of experience in controlling, especially cost accounting and reporting * Good knowledge of financial accounting Swiss GAAP FER * Very high Excel and data competence * Structured, reliable, and very independent way of working, solution and service orientation as well as strong communication skills for various stakeholders Language skills: German native level and French level B2 or vice versa.
