With a differentiated range of nursing and care services at three different locations, the city enables around 80 older residents with different care and support needs to have a homely environment with professional services. Around 120 employees and trainees ensure the well-being of older people in the Alterszentrum Sandbühl as well as in two different care apartments and in the assisted living Bachstrasse and Mühleacker.

Healthcare Professional 80-90%

Your main tasks

• Care and support of people with dementia within an engaged team
• Taking over daily responsibility as well as coordination of the daily routine of the residents
• Carrying out primary care, activation, and biography work
• Taking over basic care as well as domestic activities
• Contact person for relatives and external specialists (e.g., doctors)
• Helping to shape an open atmosphere and participating in the implementation of practical standards and processes
• Empathic and appreciative interaction with residents in the sense of our nursing philosophy

Your profile

• Completed training as Healthcare Professional EFZ
• Professional experience in long-term care, ideally with a focus on dementia care
• Very good German skills in spoken and written
• Confident handling of IT applications (MS Office, EasyDoc, RAI-NH)
• High level of commitment, sense of responsibility, and empathy in dealing with people, especially with residents with dementia
