Le Gymnase St. Antonius Appenzell (www.gymnasium.ai.ch) is a cantonal high school with a federally recognized maturity, offering a lower and upper gymnasium. In this traditional school with a humanist orientation, approximately 250 students are taught.

Starting from the 2027/28 school year (1st August 2027), we are looking for a teacher in philosophy / religion and ethics.

Your tasks

• Teaching in the philosophy discipline of the main field Philosophy/Psychology/Pedagogy
• Teaching in the mandatory cantonal subject Religion and Ethics
• Participation in the disciplinary section as well as in pedagogical and school development projects
• Depending on qualifications, other tasks in the field of school pastoral care could be assumed

Your profile

• Completed university Master's in philosophy
• Teaching diploma for high schools or in training
• Possibly an additional university Master's in theology
• Proven professional, pedagogical and didactic skills as well as strong social skills in contact with young people
• Joy of teaching in a gymnasium with a family atmosphere
