The municipality of Cham, located on Lake Zug with around 18'000 inhabitants, operates a well-visited indoor and outdoor pool (Strandbad). To strengthen the Strandbad team for the 2027 summer season, we are looking for an open-minded and flexible personality as

Lifeguard at the Strandbad (20 - 100 %, hourly wage)

Your tasks

• Assistance with supervising bathing operations (ensuring bathing operations and lifeguard supervision at the Strandbad according to current requirements)
• Cleaning, maintenance work and care of the bathing facility
• Assistance with the organization of operational processes
• Enforcement of bathing regulations as well as inspection rounds of the sanitary facilities

Your profile

• Basic rescue training SLRG Plus Pool and BLS-AED or Brevet iba PRO BiB with See Brevet
• Enjoyment in interacting with our large and small bathers
• Willingness to work irregular hours, especially also on weekends
• Confident, independent and customer-oriented appearance with friendly manners
• Reliability, resilience, flexibility
• Good German skills, foreign languages an advantage
