German Teacher (Primary and Secondary Level) (Maternity Cover)

A motivated team, a modern school concept: We are looking for quick reinforcement for our German team in Grens. This is a fixed-term substitute position. Bilingual classes in middle school, demanding advanced courses in secondary school: your timetable is as varied as your classes. For our school in Grens, we are looking for a teacher as a substitute during a maternity leave: 19 periods of German (approx. 80%) in 5th and 6th HarmoS (middle school) as well as in 9th and 10th HarmoS (secondary level I).

– Primary and secondary level I (maternity cover)

YOUR TASK:

• You teach German as a language subject in 5th and 6th as well as in 9th and 10th HarmoS;
• You promote listening comprehension, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar and accompany the students in their learning progress;
• You ensure continuity in lessons and work closely with the team to ensure the handover from the permanent teacher goes smoothly.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: A PERSON WHO TRANSMITS LANGUAGE

• You speak German as a first language and have good French skills (at least B2);
• Teaching experience is a prerequisite; pedagogical training is an advantage, but not mandatory;
• You are flexible and quickly find your way in existing classes;
• You approach the students benevolently and clearly, in the sense of our approach of Positive Discipline;
• You are a good team player, work in a structured manner and are familiar with new technologies in the field of education.
