Le Foyer du Servan, a specialized education establishment of the Fondation Bellet, is located in Lausanne. It welcomes 30 children and adolescents, aged 6 to 18 years, facing family, social and/or personal difficulties. Our educational team, composed of committed professionals and supported by a dedicated technical team, works daily to offer a secure, caring and structured framework to the young people entrusted to us.

We are currently looking for

Main responsibilities:

• Accompany our residents in their daily life and personal development, by weaving a solid, meaningful and secure bond with them.
• Contribute to the animation, socialization, school, medical and educational follow-up of these individuals.
• Create a bond of trust and collaborate closely with families in order to rehabilitate their skills and roles.
• Work in an educational team and in a multidisciplinary network, in order to guarantee global, efficient and coherent support.
• Participate in the implementation, evaluation and development of personalized educational and family projects.

Required skills:

For both positions:

• Authentic commitment and endurance in the bond with the youth.
• Team spirit and ability to work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary network.
• Sensitivity to the social and family issues of children and adolescents.
• Respect for institutional values and its educational concept.

You are applying as an educator in training through employment:

• You are currently in training through employment or looking to start it in order to become a social educator (ES or HES level).
• You are motivated to complete your student journey while actively contributing, with all the responsibilities of a social educator, to the daily life of the foyer.

You are applying as a graduate social educator:

• You hold a diploma as a social educator or an equivalent title.
• Certified experience in supporting children and adolescents with social, family and psychological difficulties is required. Training in a systemic approach or experience in family interviews is an asset.

Work framework:

Hours: Boarding school hours, including weekends and evenings. These are set annually.

Location: Foyer du Servan, Av. des Acacias 14, 1006 Lausanne

Remuneration: According to the CCT Social
